  • Used for the production of stearates: sodium stearate, magnesium stearate, calcium stearate, lead stearate, aluminium stearate, cadmium stearate, iron stearate, potassium stearate.
It is widely used in the production of cosmetics, plastic cold-resistant plasticizers, mold release agents, stabilizers, surfactants, rubber vulcanization accelerators, water repellents, polishing agents, metal soaps, metal mineral flotation agents, softeners, pharmaceuticals and other organic chemicals.
In addition, it can also be used as a solvent for oil-soluble pigments, a lubricant for crayons, a polishing agent for wax paper, and an emulsifier for stearic acid glycerides, etc.
This product is used in the food industry as a lubricant, defoamer and raw material for food additives such as stearate glycerol, stearate sorbitan ester and sucrose ester. It is used as a raw material for additives and daily chemical products.
Stearic acid is widely used in the manufacturing of PVC plastic pipes, plates, profiles and films. It is a PVC heat stabilizer, featuring excellent lubricity and good light and heat stability. In plastic PVC pipes, stearic acid helps prevent "coking" during processing. When added to PVC film processing, it is an effective heat stabilizer and can also defend against discoloration of the finished film caused by exposure to sulfides.
